Saint Patrick's Day

Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland. Saint Patrick's Day is a holiday celebrated on 17 March.

There are public parades and festivals and people use to wear something green with a shamrock on it.

It's celebrated all around the world, especially in Britain, Canada, the United States, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand. (click on the photo to learn about St Patrick's Day around the world.)
